My question is, does this game use HDR lighting? I didn't see the colors or brightness changing at all when the car was turning or passing under those bridges and was just wondering if there are HDR effects running at all. I would take HDR effects over some sun rays any day.
If he wanted to go pick one up he could just go walk into a store and buy one.
I don't see the car reflections that they are talking about. The water on the camera looked awesome, I will say. Honestly though, and I mean this with full honestly, I don't see how the environments and cars look better than PGR3 on the 360. Everyone keeps saying no 360 racer looks better. I beg to differ.
These pictures show how reflections on cars look. I didn't see that in any of the F1 screenshots, but maybe it was just those shots were bad. Both PGR3 and the F1 game loo...
I have a friend who memorized some of the songs on Expert and when he is drunk it is quite funny to see him turn around showing off and head-banging.
true, Microsoft did do the same, but at least they said something that made sense by saying only one core of the CPU was being used. they didn't throw out some percentage. I guess I don't know if either is really justified though.
I think a spoiled little brat would be a child who gets something this expensive for christmas. People have the money but can't justify spending that much when Blu-Ray isn't a draw to them and for the same price another system could be bought with multiple games.
have you played forza? you must have had the damage set on cosmetic and not simulation or whatever the highest setting is (I don't recall at the moment). doing that in forza makes you lose wheels, damage your drive train, damage your gear box, and unless your engine is in the back of your car you will seriously damage it. this usually makes it so your car can then only travel at about 40 mph and if your wheel is missing, making a right or left turn is a hassle.
call it an arcad...
I wonder if I should sell my Wii and wait to get one later... after all I usually only play it when I have people over.
hahaha, that really did make me laugh. good one.
I used to always play PC games that were on multiple discs and did that ruin my experience? Hell no. Wing Commander was always at least 4 discs. Games like Half Life 2 and Unreal Tournament were multiple discs, granted it was for the install and then you need one disc to play. Final Fantasy VII was 3 discs and that too was a wonderful experience. This multiple disc thing is being played off as if every five minutes you will need to change a disc or something when we all know that there will b...
I'm on live and I don't see any new maps. If they're free when they come out though, I can wait for sure.
Sony didn't put the Cell in the PS3 for gamers just as they didn't put the Blu-Ray in for consumers either. They put both of those things in the PS3 because they are trying to push their new technologies and get their name back in consumer's eyes after the whole battery disaster, among other things. It was a business gamble to make themselves look good again by claiming how powerful it was.
It's times like these I'm glad I can sit down and play Halo, Gears of War, Age of Empires, Guitar Hero, and other such games with my girlfriend. I'm so glad she's not fat either.
I do understand that, I'm just pointing out the demand is obviously still there.
There were 1000 Xbox 360's that sold out on Amazon in less than a minute. How does that not show the 360 will continue to outsell oppenents? Of course when you have very limited supply of a product it will sell out fast. This happens with all systems during their first few months of launch. Saying right now that the PS3 will sell out is redundant because we all know that. Once it is readily available in stores we will see for sure what is going to happen.
oops
gave me an error message, my appologies for the triple post
Not everyone can get/afford high speed internet yet. I live in South West Michigan and high speed so far is readily available in all cities, but only available in a 3 mile radius to towns. Actually I need to clarify. Verizon DSL is available in that radius and is much cheaper, more reliable, and nearly as fast as the cable alternative, Comcast. I have many friends who have games but have no way of playing them online. It's not that they don't want to, it's that they don't want to get screwed ...
"And now because the producer from GRAW says that Gow (which ryhmes with cow) is only fun for a little while."
That's not even a complete sentence! wtf?! That really annoys me for some reason, haha.
